How to Play ScoreCup
Learn in a few minutes how to make predictions, play Quiz and Duels, and climb the rankings.
What do you want to play?
Start in 4 steps
Enter ScoreCup
Tap Register to create an account, or Continue as Guest to start playing straight away. An account keeps your progress safe on every device.
Pick your favourite team
Choose it during sign-up. Its crest becomes your profile picture until you upload your own photo.
Choose what to play
Use the bottom menu: Leagues for Correct Score and 1X2, Quiz, or Duels.
Play
Make your picks or start a game. Points and rankings update after matches finish.
Guest progress is tied to the guest session. Secure your account to protect your progress and access it again later.
Registering asks for: Username, Email, Password and Verify Password.

Predict the exact score
In Correct Score you predict the final score of every real match in the round.

ScoreCup leagues open to every player, following real league fixtures.
WHERE TO FIND IT
If you are not signed in
- 1Tap the Leagues icon at the bottom left of the navigation.
- 2Find the Correct Score league you want to play and tap PLAY.
- 3On the league page tap the big JOIN button to confirm you want to enter the league.
- 4Because you are not signed in, ScoreCup asks how to continue: SIGN IN, REGISTER or CONTINUE AS GUEST.
- 5Once you've signed in, you have joined the league. Back on Leagues, that league now shows ACTIVATE and PREDICT.
- 6Tap ACTIVATE to make that league your active league.
- 7Then tap PREDICT to go to your active league's matches.
- 8Open a match and enter the final score you predict, e.g. 2 – 1.
If you are already signed in
- 1Tap the Leagues icon at the bottom left of the navigation.
- 2Find the Correct Score league you want to play and tap PLAY.
- 3On the league page tap the big JOIN button to confirm you want to enter the league.
- 4Since you are already signed in, you join straight away — no sign-in or register options appear.
- 5On Leagues, that league now shows ACTIVATE and PREDICT.
- 6Tap ACTIVATE to make that league your active league.
- 7Then tap PREDICT to go to your active league's matches.
- 8Open a match and enter the final score you predict, e.g. 2 – 1.
🔒 Private competitions
Play the same fixtures and rules with a closed group of friends.
How to join
WHERE TO FIND IT
- 1Get an invite link or code from a friend.
- 2Open the link, or go to Leagues and tap Join.
- 3Enter the invite code and tap Join Competition.
- 4Make your picks as normal.
How to create one
WHERE TO FIND IT
- 1Go to Leagues and tap Create Private.
- 2Choose the league and the game mode (Correct Score or 1X2), and name it.
- 3Tap Create competition and share the invite code.
Free players can create 1 private competition; Pro players can create as many as they want.
Change league: To play in another league, go back to Leagues, tap ACTIVATE on the league you want and then PREDICT.
🎯 The Predict screen
Predict in the bottom menu opens the league you are currently playing. Inside a league use the tabs INFO, MATCHES, TABLE and RANKINGS. Rounds you've completed show View Scores instead of Continue Predictions. To switch league, go back to Leagues, tap ACTIVATE on the league you want, then PREDICT.
💻 Desktop tip: on a computer, after entering a score the cursor moves to the next match automatically.
How you score
- Exact score+3
- Right result, wrong score+1
- Wrong result0
Example — final score Arsenal 2–1 Chelsea
- 2 – 1→ +3
- 3 – 1→ +1
- 1 – 1→ 0
🔒 Each pick locks when that match kicks off. Before kickoff you can change it as often as you like. An early kickoff never locks the other matches.
⏱️ Which result counts?
Predictions are settled on the 90-minute result including stoppage time. Extra time and penalties do not count.

WHERE TO FIND IT
HOW TO PLAY
- 1Open Leagues and tap a 1X2 league, then JOIN.
- 2Open the current round on MATCHES.
- 3Tap 1, X or 2 for every match — each pick is saved as you tap.
- 4Complete all matches in the round to chase the round bonus.
- 5Come back after the games to see your points.
Example — Arsenal vs Chelsea, you pick 1
Arsenal win → ✓ Correct, +1 point
Draw or Chelsea win → ✕ Incorrect, 0 points
How you score
- +1 point for every correct pick, as soon as that match finishes.
- Wrong picks score 0 — never negative.
- Round bonus once all matches in the round are done: every pick right = +10, one wrong = +5.
- In 10-match rounds (e.g. Premier League), 8 out of 10 also earns +3.
🔒 Each match locks on its own
- 13:30 match kicks off → that pick locks
- 16:00 match hasn't started → you can still change it
QUIZ
ScoreCup Quiz
Quiz is separate from match predictions — it tests your football knowledge. Every question has 4 answers and 15 seconds on the clock.

🥊 Quiz Battle
A head-to-head quiz against another player: 5 rounds, 3 questions per round (15 questions each). Players take turns choosing the category and both get the same questions.
WHERE TO FIND IT
- 1Open Quiz and tap PLAY BATTLE (or PLAY WITH FRIENDS).
- 2Choose an opponent.
- 3Pick a category when it's your turn to choose.
- 4Read each question and tap one of the 4 answers — your answer locks.
- 5When your turn ends your opponent plays; you'll see IT'S YOUR TURN! when it's back to you.
- 6After round 5 the player with more correct answers wins. Equal scores are a draw.
📅 Daily Challenge
ONE ATTEMPT PER DAYOne set of 10 questions per day — the same for everyone. You get one attempt; reopening the page gives you the same questions.

- 2Answer the 10 questions.
- 3See your score and today's ranking.
- 4Come back tomorrow — a new challenge starts at 00:01 Cyprus time.
❤️ Survival
Answer questions until you run out of lives. You start with 3 lives.

- 1Open Quiz and tap START SURVIVAL.
- 2Correct answer — keep going.
- 3Wrong answer or time out — lose one life.
- 4The run ends when all 3 lives are gone.
- 5Try to beat your best run.
What you'll see after answering
- Correct — your answer turns green.
- Wrong — your answer turns red and the correct answer is shown in green.
- Time runs out — the correct answer is shown.
DUELS
Duels
A 1X2 head-to-head against one player on the same league round. Whoever gets more match results right wins.

HOW TO PLAY
- 1Open Duels and tap CHALLENGE A PLAYER.
- 2Search for or invite a new player and choose the league and round.
- 3Make your 1, X or 2 pick for every match, then send the challenge.
- 4Your opponent accepts and makes their picks. Picks stay hidden until both are locked.
- 5After the round, more correct picks wins. Equal is a draw.
- 6See your record and recent duels on the Duels page.
- Challenges that aren't accepted before the round's first kickoff expire.
- Free players can have one open duel per league; Pro players are unlimited.

ScoreCup is free to play. Pro is an optional subscription with unlimited private competitions, unlimited open Duels and advanced player statistics. Pro never changes how points are scored.

Do I need an account?
You can Register (username, email, password) or tap Continue as Guest and start playing straight away. Secure your guest account later to keep your progress.
How do I make my first prediction?
Leagues → choose a league → JOIN → MATCHES → open a match and enter your pick.
Can I change my prediction?
Yes, as often as you like until that match kicks off. After kickoff that pick is locked.
What do 1, X and 2 mean?
1 = home win, X = draw, 2 = away win.
When does a prediction lock?
At the kickoff of that individual match. Other matches in the round stay open.
Which result counts?
The 90-minute result including stoppage time. Extra time and penalties don't count.
Where do I see my points?
Tap Ranks in the bottom menu, or open the RANKINGS tab inside a league.
Where is the Quiz?
Tap Quiz in the bottom menu. You'll find Quiz Battle, Daily Challenge and Survival there.
How do I play a Duel?
Duels → CHALLENGE A PLAYER → choose opponent, league and round → make your 1X2 picks → send.
Can I play as a guest?
Yes. Guest progress is tied to the guest session, so secure your account to protect it.
What if I don't make a prediction?
You simply get no points for that match. It is not counted as a wrong pick, and you can play the next round as normal.
What about postponed or cancelled matches?
Postponed, suspended or cancelled matches don't count for points while they are not played, and they are skipped when choosing your next round.
